Myanmar Building, Lighting, Woodworking and Machine Tools industrial fair kicked off at Tatmadaw Hall on Thursday.

The fair features products from 4 categories; building material, hardware, lighting, wood processing and machine tool and automation.

Vice Chairman, Myanmar Industrial Association, Dr. Aung Thein: As this fair is 4-in-1 show, I hope local entrepreneurs can find and buy materials and machines in terms of their business needs. There are also business opportunities in this fair as some of foreign exhibitors are first time participating here and they may find local agents or distributors to introduce their brands and products. 

120 exhibitors from 15 countries including Myanmar join the fair. 

Exhibitor, Sea Lion Co. Ltd, Min Min Oo: There are a lot machines that they can be used fully automatic without manpower. If we use this kind of machines in our business, we can save manpower and it can help to develop and extend our business. 

Visitor, Shein Kyi: I’d like to know how materials and machines are up-to-date to use in our industries so I came here. I think SME developers should come and visit this fair as I’ve seen many materials and machines that will help innovative entrepreneurs like them. 

The industrial fair will run till May 15.
